Joined Forrst

I had been holding out for that elusive Dribbble invite, but looking as that may not happen I went ahead and accepted a Forrst invite. For anyone who has an account, I can be found atĀ http://forr.st/-jasonrutherford.

Transportable Transparent Noise →

While discussing the build out of comp with a coworker the idea was put out there to try and recreate the subtle noise in my toolbar by using CSS3 and a semi-transparent PNG pattern. The Web Killed My Sketchbook

Well not really. But since I began down the career path of web designer and now into user experience designer 10+ years ago I found that with every year I began to drift further away from my sketchbook. Now that my children are getting older I feel a responsibility to pick it back up and maybe inspire them to do so as well.

2011.

I’m taking back my sketchbook. Sort of. With the gift of a new gridded Moleskine notebook from my wife I can now use my other one strictly for sketching - and hopefully sharing here.
